Heroes in Alabama riverboat brawl reflect anti-White supremacy mood engulfing African and its Diaspora

When onlookers swam and ran to the rescue of an unarmed Black riverboat co-captain being attacked by a white mob, political analysts say their heroism reflects a rebellious mood against White domination in Africa and throughout the diaspora. 

In this video the director of The Center for Pan African Studies draws parallels between the rescue mission in Montgomery, Alabama and the anti-colonial movement inflaming Africa.
