Venezuela and Iran: A World Away Beyond The Distance in Between
On February 27th, 2026 (24 hours before the U.S./Israel attacked Iran) most of the world was assuming the fate of Iran was going to be the same for them as it was for Venezuela. Trump's administration was cocky and boastful in their assumption that the operation to topple Irans islamic Republic government would take just a few days tops to overthrow. IN hindsight (for most of the world) they were catastrophically wrong. The world found out quickly that Iran taint nothing like Venezuela. The world found out within 48 hours of the war’s start what a small percentage of us who studied Irans history were already aware of: Iran is as polar opposites with Venezuela in virtually every way possible.
Outside of the distance, theres the primary fact that Venezuela is a relatively recent colonial creation that was never a great nation of power. By contrast, Iran is an ancient civilization that was once a great world power in ages past. These 2 different nations are totally different stock. Iran was never a rogue terrorist regime like the west tries to paint them as. That narrative was conceived to justify the sanctions and violence against them. This is no different than how the western media portrays continental African nations and Black American neighborhoods as unsafe and teeming with chronic social problems and high crime rate. But back to Iran. Modern Iran produces some of the best scientists in the world. Their women, percentage wise, are more educated than American women and serve in leadership roles in pretty much every sector. Alot of people dont realize that Iran is ancient Persia. Persia is the name the Greeks gave them but Iran is how theyve always self identified. The name means ‘land of the Aryans”. This same Iran is the ancient Persian empire that invaded and conquered ancient Egypt, not once but twice. The 27th Dynasty and again as the 31st Dynasty.
In conclusion, it is simply unfair to Venezuela to compare them with Iran. As of today, April 13th, 2026, I seriously doubt anyone keeping eye on international politics will ever make such comparison ever again.
Pan African Lesson: Take lessons from Iran’s history and how they are maneuvering in this war against the US/Israel Aggressor Coalition. There are so many takeaway principles that can be applied to our respective circumstances if we look beyond the surface
